intuitive Somatic yin
a 75-hour yin yoga teacher training
February & March, 2024
This training Was created for movement practitioners and teachers who desire coherent, whole-body focused practices. It is designed to teach you the intricate systems of your body and mind so as to move in rhythmic, healing and sensical ways.
Traditional yin yoga compartmentalizes yin tissues, separating yin tissues from the totality of the body, and created its principles of stillness, intensity and time from that place. In reality we cannot separate any tissue, and all tissues, all cells, are governed by the nervous system. In Intuitive Somatic Yin, we focus our movements on re-wiring the nervous system, while utilizing knowledge of connective tissues, to support healing of the whole body/mind system.
Your body is longing to reconnect, to move slowly, to remember its flow, resonanT state…
This 50-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training is an intensive training for yoga teachers, energy workers, bodyworkers, therapists, and anyone who feels the call to deepen their practice.
In order to transform yourself, your life, your relationships, and this world, it is imperative that we collectively recall the science of spaciousness.
Through the spaciousness of any slow and internal practice, the way we interact with the world and each other powerfully shifts. Through cultivating your inner life, you become an embodied leader that our planet so desperately needs.
This training includes comprehensive education on the physiology of the yin yoga practice so that teachers can step into a place of mastery, both inwardly and in their guidance of practitioners. This training ensures a level of skill in all areas of yin yoga, such as the energy body, deep somatic education, an understanding of trauma and the brain/body connection, and so much more.

FAQs
I’m not a yoga teacher. Can i still sign up for this training?
Absolutely! This training is for anyone who wants to deepen their practice and remember the spaciousness associated with slowing down and being present.
How is this training different from other yin yoga teacher trainings?
After teaching yin yoga to literally thousands of bodies for more than 10 years, Mallorie quickly noticed that practitioners were taking their busy, braced, stressed bodies into yoga in the same way. Forcing, straining, grunting. She then began to study the nervous system, trauma, and our body/mind systems and could no longer compartmentalize ‘yin tissue’ and call it a holistic and healing practice. Mallorie still utilizes some traditional yin principles, alongside a comprehensive awareness of the central nervous system + autonomic nervous system, as well as our psycho-neuro-immuno-endocrinological cycles to create deeply healing rhythms for each body.
