The Brain Body Being Training at-a-glance

A Loving + Scientific Approach to Healing Your Body and Transforming Your Life.

This radically emergent certificate program is designed for individuals, practitioners, therapists, educators, and healers longing for an approach to therapeutic and somatic support that offers a tangible and science-based foundation to deep-rooted and quantum shifts.

Our minds can change, our bodies regenerate at a faster pace than we can imagine, and we do create our worlds. Yet understanding and then applying this science is easier said than done!

This program brings together an in-depth educational platform in:

  • psycho-physiology

  • accessible somatic practices for healing trauma and creating a resilient nervous system

  • paradigmatic and sociological exploration

  • a comprehensive study of quantum mechanics + spiritual law

  • the anatomical and kinaesthetic structures of the body

  • functional movement for supportive somatic healing

  • facilitation of touch for physical healing

  • the anatomy of illness and disease, the biopsychosocial contexts of disease

  • the neuroscience of chronic pain and the corresponding neuro-exercises required to heal chronic tension.

Amalgamating knowledge with embodiment, this extraordinary journey ensures that you will go through a radical transformation yourself, as well as learn how to offer authentic and life-changing experiences for others.

Join us to learn how to utilize mind/body science alongside knowledge of cosmological law to support yourself, community and clients to heal, connect and thrive.

inside brain body being

Upon completion of year one of this course, you will be a certified Brain Body Being Facilitator. If you choose to complete year two, you will also receive professional credentials of Clinical Somatic Educator, Registered Somatic Movement Therapist, and Registered Somatic Movement Educator.

Throughout the course, you will become trained as a practitioner and somatic facilitator of the Brain Body Being Method of Transformation, enabling you to lead individuals and groups in the contexts of healing illness + addiction, of completely transforming one's inner and outer experience, and leading folks into the most expansive expression of their lives.

This program takes a module approach that amalgamates science + physiology, philosophy, mysticism, somatics, and movement for a comprehensive training that will revolutionize your life and the lives of those you work with. Over the two-year-long certification program we will explore a comprehensive curriculum exploring the following pillars of learning.

Psycho-physiology

As one of three pillars of our Brain Body Being Method, psycho-physiological education is essential to truly understanding and inciting transformation of thought and experience.

In this training, you will become masterful at facilitating in-depth lectures and experiences that teach individuals about their body/mind cycles, their nervous system and about the ways that can most authentically interrupt old cycles and activate new ones.

You will also learn about the anatomy of addiction, pain and illness, alongside the anatomy of wellness, so as to support compassionate connection and change in yourself and others.

You will become well versed in the basics of psycho-neuro-immuno-endocrinological science, so as to give yourself and others knowledge as to how the mind/body system actually works.

Somatics

The second pillar of our method encompasses an entirely different paradigm (perspective of the world) than the fast-paced, individualistic, compartmentalized viewpoint we are so used to in our daily lives.

Not only will you learn to dissect, navigate and re-create paradigm, you will also learn how paradigm impacts your body/mind system, as well as the various systems of support that create and regulate your experience of the world.

You will also attain the masterful skill and capacity to offer somatic embodiment practices that precisely meet a practitioner’s current psycho-physiological state. In this way, healing and transformation can occur gently and genuinely, from the cell all the way to the outer material experience.

Our program offers a foundation of movement education that meets an incredible epistemological discernment to ensure potent transformational facilitation.

Quantum Theory

A third essential pillar to understanding how transformation and creation occurs as a science is through the lens of quantum mechanics. Taught in a way that is accessible yet comprehensive, you will learn about the theory and implications of the study of quantum space.

In this practice and exploration, we include a masterful understanding of resonance states (from a physiological and a quantum perspective), energetic anatomy, and healing wisely.

The word ‘manifestation’ is spoken about in such pejorative ways now, often inciting more harm and confusion than an actual understanding of how this universal law works. At Homebody, we utilize the word ‘materialization’, which refers to the phenomena of quantum events ~ bringing that which is in wave form into particle form through ‘observational’ complexity. In the study of materialization, we essentially ‘make sense’ of manifestation, so you can actually and finally utilize the laws of the universe consciously and in your favour.

What our students are saying

Meet Your Faculty

Your Lead Facilitator, Mallorie Buoy

founder & DIRECTOR OF Homebody Healing

Mallorie has been a yoga teacher, a movement facilitator, an educator, a spiritual guide, a compassionate inquiry practitioner, a foster parent, and entrepreneur for over 12 years, initially exploring each of these paths for personal guidance and purpose. She is currently practicing as a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator and a Somatic Experience Practitioner, merging all of her education and experience into offerings that are clear, authentic and of the most service to humanity. Utilizing daily self-inquiry and analyzing the ways in which Spiritual/ Physical Laws meet and co-create with current social structures, Mallorie is passionate about amalgamating the alchemical and the pragmatic, the metaphysical with social justice, and spiritual awakening with genuine support and uplifting of those living in vulnerable and marginalized circumstances.

“I have been a seeker for almost twenty years. I have studied with masters in the Himalayas, and travelled the world to uncover the cosmic teachings that so allude our western culture of urgency and physicality. I was influenced by spiritual ‘manifestation’ dialogue during a time of depression, which confused me even more. My experiences with depression and anxiety, as well as caregiving in very challenging circumstances compelled me to explore the rich truth of cosmic law, alongside the science of it all. And I discovered this truth in somatic science, possibility practices, physics, and pragmatic mysticism. I have merged my journey into a comprehensible and digestible (yet still awe-some) practice that bridges what IS with what you desire, and now I want to teach it to you.”

Your Co-Facilitators

Halie Devlin

Working with humans who identify as being in recovery is Halie’s life’s work and greatest passion. She has come to adopt SAMHSA’s definition of recovery in her work with others: “A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential.” By this definition, MANY of us are seeking a life of recovery.

As a somatic coach, sober coach, yoga and meditation teacher, ceremonialist, and a woman in recovery for 7+ years, the work Halie does is both body-centered and spiritually-oriented. There are spiritual circles that devote their practice to transcending the body…but Halie believes with every fiber of her being that recovery is a process of remembering how to BE IN our bodies, to reclaim them as a safe and sacred space. The more we can learn to consciously inhabit our bodies, the better we heal and the more agency we ultimately have in our lives. With this in mind, Halie loves to draw upon the 1,000+ hours of training and study she has integrated about trauma-informed care, somatics, neuroscience, and more to provide you with education and practices that empower you to learn how to understand the language and deep wisdom of your body.

Victoria Simpson

Victoria’s passion for the healing arts developed through her own healing and life journey. During her mid-twenties she had an insatiable thirst to understand more about the complexities of being human. Her perception of herself and the world was filtered by the distorted lens of developmental trauma without yet having the knowledge to understand it for what it was. Wired for intensity, grasping for healing, Victoria took to India year after year for long stays. She immersed herself in many explorations, studies and trainings in different spiritual lineages and healing methodologies. All of this, yet she still felt disconnected and confused by the amounts of pain and contradiction she was experiencing. She had an abundance of tools and awareness, but deep down something wasn't shifting. She didn't feel safe or grounded in her body and the anxiety she felt didn't match her life circumstances. Shifts and integration started to happen for her when she started to bridge the gap between spirituality and science; Her teachings are inspired through spending time immersed in Eastern culture and philosophy and her passion in Neuroscience and Somatic Experiencing. Understanding the nervous system gently and gradually helped her walk the path from disconnection to gain her sense of self, her sense of wholeness. She believes safety and trust within ourselves, is one of the fundamental needs for us to live life to our full potential as human beings and that is why she encourages her students to become re-embodied and become fluent in understanding the various languages of the body.

Soni Dasmohapatra

Soni has been a yogini all her life. Rituals, prayers, mantras, and spiritual traditions make up the tapestry of her upbringing and of her personal practice. She has recited mantra since childhood and has studied Indian classical dance forms Kathak and Odissi for over two decades. Yoga, dance, and singing has helped her build self-confidence, calm her nervous system, kept her connected to her roots, and to India’s rich culture, history, and identity.

Soni continues to nurture her inspiration to share yoga’s origins in India and support students by bridging this ancient science with modern experiences in the west. Her interest in well-being led her to attaining her Reiki masters, yoga teaching certifications from Akhanda Yoga and Miranda Gray’s Moon Mother level 1. She has a business called Lunar Womb.

Soni is a strong advocate in valuing that holistic wellness is nurtured through reflexive practice. Soni's passion is to facilitate a simple daily practice so that individuals can identify their rhythms and cycles in sync with their lifestyle pattern to maintain their unique formula of balance and stability while experiencing life. Soni offers tools such as Somatic Coaching, Ayurvedic Consultations, and yoga practice/teachings to provide a diversity of healing modalities which are catered to unique individual journeys or group classes for individual and collective action to embody well-being.
