Brain Body Being Year Two At-a-Glance

A clinically-focused, trauma-informed exploration of the vast science and practice of healing the body

In Year Two, we will explore the somatic side of navigating diagnosis, healing chronic pain, understanding the anatomy of illness, and becoming skillful in facilitating diagnostic sessions that offer support, functional movement, anatomical and kinaesthetic education, and the many layers of healing.

Healing the body, or experiencing a body that feels good, vibrant and well, changes our experience and perception of life.

It is very important to note that a body that is sick or in pain is not less than, but equally able to create a beautiful life; nevertheless, there is a science to healing through the mind, nervous system and body that can support folks experiencing pain and illness in reviving their body’s inherent wellness.

There is a language to healing that can sound (and truly be) ablest. My hope and intention is to offer somatic knowledge, skills, and practices that can support everyone’s journey with their body, and to experience wellness in their own way.
