Practice as Regenerative
Somatic practices for authentic manifestation
This work of Somatic Transformation and grounded materialization is the work of looking at how we live our lives, moment-by-moment, day-by-day. That which I practice (or how I live) in moments, days, years, becomes my life. So if I desire change in my life, or change for the world, I must look at what I am practicing daily.
Daily practice includes beliefs, thoughts, expectations, emotions, decisions/choices, and actions.
However, the above are not so easy to change as they are established in the first 3 months - 3-7 years of our lives. This is why it is so essential to practice the embodiment of new beliefs, thoughts, expectations, emotions, decisions/choices, and actions.
The first step in such a practice is blending. We have spoken about this before, so I will be brief (not to negate its importance). But it is the turning towards, accepting of, being with WHAT IS. So many (most?) folks seeking change are doing so in a strange limbo of un(sub)consciously fixating on what is, while efforting to become something different. Blending is a slowing down, a feeling into the body so as to notice, and do nothing with the sensations, images, and emotions that are present. In simply being with, the nervous system titrates towards the intricacies of connection, creativity, solution, peace, and a sense of wholeness. It is from this place that we can begin utilizing the power of our imagination (interwoven with a genuine emotional response to what we are imagining), which begins to change everything, from our trillions of cellular interfaces to the events in our lives.
A blending practice for you:
Current trending transformation and manifestation (*gasp! I do not use this word!) practices tend to focus on the ‘calling in’ aspect of imagining, without the ‘being with’ component — and this leads to a helluva lot of bypassing, confusion, and misconception of spiritual and scientific law.
Two years ago, as I was shifting every aspect of my life from the micro to the macro, I developed a practice that combines blending with emotive imagination. I called this practice Somatic Dreaming™. It amalgamates the science of our psycho-neuro-endocrine-immunological (PNEI) system (the effect of our thoughts and emotions on our bodies and lives), with the quantum and spiritual law of expectation, belief and the power of our imagination. You can read more about this practice below, but for now, soak in this Somatic Dreaming™ practice to begin changing your life today:
Somatic Dreaming™ is a method of physiological transformation and materialization that was developed through 15 years of studying movement, universal law, philosophy, the science of the subconscious mind, and quantum materialization. After years of exploring ‘manifestation’ practices yet experiencing the same challenges on repeat, I began to study how the law of materialization actually works. It was through this study that she came to realize that ‘manifestation’ practices are often just keeping folks in their same physiology that creates their same experiences. In this way, I began to explore how the science of somatics and imagination could coalesce to create a dream-like practice that offered the body a felt sense of relief and ease, joy and anticipation, while also radicalizing materialization as a practical and pragmatic imperative for personal alignment and collective change.
Somatic Dreaming is a science-informed practice that leads to a felt shift in your embodied experience and an exciting transformation of your external life. Prepare for interesting things to begin to materialize in your life through this practice, and become a masterful facilitator for others to experience its magic.
Facilitating Somatic Dreaming practices is a beautiful way of connecting individuals to their desires, of bringing those you work with (or yourself) into the body, learning where to locate space ~ space to rest, space to expand.
If you are feeling called to go on a journey with yourself and also learn how to facilitate the practice of Somatic Dreaming for others, our 100-hour Somatic Dreaming Certification is INCLUDED in our Somatic Educator and Therapist Training Program, Brain Body Being! There is still time to register.
Journal prompts for after your Somatic Dreaming practice:
What are the most poignant reflections after practice?
What arose in your body before, during and after practice?
Is it difficult to imagine that which you long for? If imagery is more challenging for you, how might you feel the invitation to imagine?
